Okay. I have three confirmed female Russian torts arriving next week after a kind lady reached out.Adult, egg-laying females. Awesome, right?

After sharing images of my set ups and care. Someone else reached out to me with a confirmed female. Cool!

Of course I asked if they were sure, as I'm overrun with the fellas.
"Yeah of course. Took shelfon to the vet and found out it was a Shelby."

That told me then potentially a male, but based off the torts age, and no fee to me. I took the chance.

Well...the tort arrived this morning.wide anal scutes and tail tucked to the side... I'm not sure, but I'll have to look at the vent after it decompresses

I'd say female by the tail size. My male and most I have seen have very big/long tails, at least twice that. 🤞

I agree. Plus at this size it would be massive

Gonna do some quarantine, until shes out and about.
I sat her before a female just to see behavior and she hid when she sniffed her. Males usually headbob right away in my experience.
