I am struggling to get an 8ft vivarium delivered, would this 6ft enclosure be OK?

I have measured up and going to struggle with size, would a 6fx2ftx2ft work?
6x2 is 12 sq.ft. and recommended enclosure size is around 32 sq.ft. This could work if you can arrange him a larger outdoor enclosure in summer. If it's not an option, you may go creative and consider two-level, L or T shaped enclosures. From my observations, for a 6 inch tortoise a 6x3 enclosure is not spacious enough - not much space to walk around hides, dishes and etc. Tricks like placing water dish on top of the "bunker-style" hide can help a little.

If you go onto Southdown aquatics, you can request custom builds, if space is an issue, perhaps drop them a message about a two tier 6x3 with a ramp connecting to the top level, ask for the ramp to have sides for safety and a barrier at the top
