do torts shed

I noticed sometimes my torts head will have spot that will shed off and they havr water all the time sokrd every other day for 1 hour and have most coconut coir in there cage and they go outside and get sun is yhis normal

They do actually, but they shed in little species, not like snakes or frogs. Tortoises shed differently then turtles. Tortoises usually only shed their skin skin, not their shell 'skin'. Turtles shed EVERYTHING. The top, dead layer of shell 'skin' peels off, and their skin skin just sheds off.
