Dry Skin?

Quick question. My sulcata always seems to have (what looks like) dry skin over his eyes. It doesn't seem to go away if I soak him. Maybe it's his coloring? He doesn't really like to be touched so I can't really tell you what it feels like. Doesn't get worst or better. Just wanted to see if anyone has seen this before.

Greetings CAGIRL

Tell us a bit more about your sully, age, how long you have had him, and how often you soak him. I'm sure many on here with lots of experience st owning sullys will be slong with opinions. Good luck.

I bought him when he was 2 months old and now he's a little over three years. Weights 12 pounds. He gets soaked about once a week and sprayed with the hose every day. He spends most of his day outside in the sun, comes inside to go to sleep. Only eats the plants and grass outside except for the occasional lettuce, mazuri, veggie treats.

My 8 month old has that too. I was told that they shed a little and I know I have fed mine correctly and have the right temps and housing so I think its just normal. I think its just part of the coloring and the texturing as they grow.
