Thats sucks, owners who don't listen to advice meant to save there animal drive me crazy...

How did the abscess end up looking so chewed open looking? Did the vet not make a clean cut and clear it out and send topical along with antibiotic injections?????

The pic was taken before we did anything, we sedated him then cleaned out the stuff inside of which most was solid.
Topical cream cannot be used in abcesses, it seals in any bacteria that is left.
We did give antibiotics every 48 hours and to be cleaned 3 times a day with saline solution,
After the first 2 injections she never came back.
