Eats ALOT/Opuntia

My leopard tortoise seems to always be hungry now that I have his diet figured out. It seems that he will continue to eat as long as I keep giving him food. How much is too much food? (he is appx 2 1/2 years old)


Plus where can i get Opuntia ?

I don't know the answer to your first question about how much is too much food, but I get my Opuntia at the regular grocery store. Krogers has it in the flat leaves/pads and another local grocery has it already chopped up in little bags - both in the produce section by the mushrooms. I hope this helps you

You should feed him about as much as he can eat in 15 minutes. A small handful twice a day...morning and evening
