Chole, my Russian Tortoise, laid 8 eggs today. In the past, the most she has laid at one time is 6. I was so surprised to find 8 eggs in the nest. Also they are good size eggs.

Wow Carol. That's fantastic! That is the most I've ever heard of for a Russian clutch. I think its a reflection of the excellent care they receive.
