Cute. Shouldn't be feeding them fruit though. They can't handle the sugar.

Oh I didn't know that. I thought a treat, I see the zoo feeding watermelon and strawberries as treats.

Zoos are often as bad as pet shops for giving advice or setting a bad example.

Some of the forest species, like red footed tortoises for example, can handle the sugars in limited quantities, but its not good for sulcatas. My way of looking at it is this: If it is so bad that you can only give a small amount once in a while without doing harm, then why do it at all? Just feed the tortoise something good for it.
