Oh man! I love the lil' beta tank! I couldn't see that in the first tiny pic. Now with that stone road, did you make it separately and then place it in the tank?

This is one of the best enclosures I ever saw. Really!!! I just can't get over it. And...I love, love, love that he has his own little pet fish. He's never going to have over grown toenails with his little path. Just absolutely love it!!

I just cut out a paper template then laid it on my bare dirt heap and trimmed it till it was just right. Then traced it on the back of the stone mat and cut it out. After I got a blister on my hand using diagonal electrical cutters I switched to the trusty Swiss Army knife...made it so much easier!

That is such a compliment coming from you. Seeing your enclosures inspired me to make it visually appealing as well as functional for Troopa. (yes I stalked around here for a few weeks before my first post)

Thanks!

I don't mind at all. I'm glad that I'm not the only one so amused!

The enclosure looks wonderful, but I noticed a coil bulb in the lower left corner of the photo. Some of the members here have said those can damage your tortoises eyes. Wanted to let you know, just in case.

Good job on the beautiful pen.

I have been using the coil lights since from the start and have had no problems with them. I keep it far enough away that it will still have the active UVB but not be so harsh.
