Hey everyone,
I sealed my particle board terrarium with epoxy 2-3weeks ago.
The epoxy is from a terrarium onlineshop and was advertised for sealing wood terrariums from humidity. I mixed the epoxy and hardener as instructed. Now I tested the lighting/heating and noticed a breathtaking toxic smell. Srsly, breathtaking, I got a headache instantly.
Could that be the epoxy?Maybe from the ceramic light fixture for the basking spot that is screwed to the top?
My husband claims its windex- the glass front was superdirty so I cleaned it before putting it in. I now cleaned the glass with water and newspaper bits but it still smells. Help, I do not want to put my tortoises in there if it smells like this.
