So I have a 2 year old Hermann and he is has been great. Although the last week or so he has been constantly trying to climb up the one corner of his terrarium. Its always the same corner and obviously he cant get out but he he is dispersing all the mulch from that area. He hasn't been eating as well as he normally does also. Yesterday I gave him just the top of a strawberry with the green and he ran over and ate it right out of my hand. Has anyone seen this kind of behavior.

My first thought is, have you checked your enclosure temperatures?

How big is the enclosure? Peter used to do that when he was still in his old, small enclosure.

My redfoot would do that when it got dry. Or cold. I had a hard time keeping humidity up. But now that they are out of their table and into Rubbermaid with a balcony on top I can keep pretty good humidity under the balcony where they sleep. :) I'm not too sure about Herman's as ive never had one. Just wanted to share my experience with the issue.
