This happened to be a rare find for me about 4 years back …she was about 3†and now 7-8â€. I have not bred her yet …. But have full intentions to . Most likely the coloration is gene inherited , to what degree/pattern no one can say. For myself I have seen lots of marble Cherry heads but very few Marbled Redfoots. I can say for the Cherries I have that are marbled, do in fact produce a much higher/marbled color compared to other females within the herd who produce babies as well but not so colorful in shell contrast.
