Looking for final upgrade options before I put in some decorative stones etc and can relax finally. I’ve truly gone too far I think but we’ll see.
The vivarium has
1*100W CHE next to basking
1*50W CHE toward cold
1*50w basking bulb
24W 12% arcadia desert UVB tube.
1* habistat pro pulse proportional thermostat.
2* thermopro temp/humidity readers
Current temps/humidity (in Celsius)
Hot day 31-32 at 70-80%
Hot night 28-28.5 at 75-80%
Cold day 28-28.5 at 80-85%
Cold night 27.5-28 at 80-85%
Basking 35-36 at 70-80%
Currently waiting on and to upgrade are:
White python 3ft daylight LED strip (express shipping… sure….)
Microclimate EVO connected thermostat 3
I’m currently controlling the 2 CHE’s with the pulse but plugged in to adapter so splits to both. The one with the thermostat is the 100W bulb.
I’ve decided to go the full micro climate route and regulate the temperature in all 3 zones (basking, hot and cold zones) with the use of the evo 3.
The wee guy is currently eating grass, dandelion, creeping thistle, cucumber (every 2-3 days), nettle, buddleia, mint and others. Check with the tortoise table.
Any further improvements or advice is appreciated and big thanks to Littleredfootbigredheart for his help and guides.
