I finally finished my closed chamber build for our Eastern Hermanns hatchling. I made it out of a 40 gallon breeder. The top is 3/8” plywood primed and painted to seal it from moisture/humidity. Time will tell how well that will work and how long it’ll last. My backup for that is Acrylic Sheet. As you can see I have a flood lamp and a CHE mounted to the top and a 24” Arcadia UVB fixture on the inside. Right now I have everything on timers but don’t think I’ll need the CHE until fall/winter. I’m running the UVB for 2-1/2 hours a day and the Flood light for 13 hours. Humidity seems to hold well between 80-90% currently.

Looks good.
I would take out one of the hides. They really only need one. More room to roam is better then multiple hides.
Also be sure the water dish is big enough he can fit into it and the top of the rim is level with the substrate
