Well it's pretty much done for now... got a couple inch layer of the coir on the bottom with anywhere from an inch to 3 in of bark on top depending on where at in the enclosure she has a cave on the cool side (left) corner with a food area in front of it and a long wooden log bark on the Center back wall with a water dish in front of it and a basking Rock in the corner on the hot end to the right and some Clover planted in a shallow dish in the front the lights are set up with the 5.0 high output bulb running down the center and the incandescent heat bulb over the Basking Rock on the right side with the night light right in front of it so far the temperatures have been holding good right now currently it's around noon and I just looked in there and it's 91° on the hot end with 80% humidity and on the cool and it's 80° with 70% humidity she seems to like it she's been really active in there since I finally got the right light on her.20200314_112834.jpg20200314_112900.jpg20200314_112515.jpg20200314_112340.jpg20200314_112322.jpg

It's so refreshing to see a new person take our advice so readily. Good job! (but I don't think you need to cover the front. The opaque quality of the tub negates his thinking he can walk through it.

Are you able to keep the temperature and humidity levels where you want them?

For the most part it got a little warm up into the mid-80s on the cool side that was my only concern humidity averaged at 70% all the way up to a little over 80% I made the trails walking from the cave and the log and other walking areas with the coir to make it soft for her belly... she had a big appetite earlier today I gave her some lettuce strips and diced cucumber and zucchini squash she liked it... her weight has dropped .5 gram or so since the last time I weighed her which was probably a few weeks ago or more she weighed 46 grams today... she basically had no real UVB lighting until yesterday when I got the new lamp in which really seemed to bring her to life more than we've seen in awhile and feeding her reptocal calcium vitamin powder mixed in with her hand feedings of the critical-care food also the carrot pedia soaks at least every other day minimum since she's getting so much more humidity with the new enclosure......was like a sauna in there when I lifted the lid....lol

Really very homey!

Have you been weighing her? How is her appetite?
She weighed around 44 grams in January sometime and then a few weeks ago she weighed like 47 point something and today she weighed 46 point something so she lost a little bit of weight but I've been trying to keep up with hand feeding her as much as possible at least once a day if not twice she doesn't always eat greens or weeds depending on whether she gets outside but we fed her some veggies today and she seemed to like them probably cuz of the heat of her enclosure she was more inclined to eat

I would try to get some cactus pads...they are naturally high in calcium, fiber, water, and other nutrients torts graze for in the wild.

are you talking like the flat prickly pear style Cactus pads like you buy in the Mexican store? And yesterday by the way she weighed 50 grams up from 46 a week or so ago

Yep - those're the ones! Great for supplementing calcium and fiber when healthful broad leaf greens are being refused.

Continue to weigh on a weekly basis...daily readings will fluctuate (full or empty bladder, bowel Forex), so upward trending is best evaluated over longer time intervals.

What is the plastron looking like?

Still clear but looks like it's closing in a little bit with solid plastron color
