Fleece for tortoise?!

Okay so I herd you could use fleece for your tortoises enclosure but idk if thats true? would that be safe? I plan on using Exo Terra coconut fiber for my zoo med tortoise house, or reptibark.

Never hear of such a thing? How would it be processed/textured?

I am thinking someone confused it with the reptile carpet and its felt appearance. Fleece is definately not an appropriate substrate.

I don't know what it is but it doesn't sound natural or something the tortoise can dig in to regulate body temp so I wouldn't use it.
