My 6 year old male red foot has started flipping himself. He wants to climb everything including the walls. I have started adding flexible plexiglass to corners but I can’t eliminate actual walls.

I can cameras in his cage but we can’t be with him constantly.

Any suggestions?

I'm afraid to tell you but I think he's getting bored and needs more room to roam. When the enclosure is too small or is not stimulating enough the want to climb out. It's equivalent of humans getting cabin fever.

A adult redfoot needs a minimum of 120sqft so roughly a 10' x 12' room or equivalent sqft in a more accommodating shape. I currently have my 3yr old redfoot in a 33sqft enclosure that's 11' x 3' 20250917_213545.jpg

That's a very attractive setup.
I think that the OP might have a male that is becoming sexually mature.
Pay attention to where he flips over and modify or eliminate the hazard.
Since I've always kept my RF outside, I just rounded off corners and removed any tall objects.
My females where generally less active and less prone to end up upside-down

Mine just whips his equipment out in the daily soaks.
