I am looking to adopt a baby or young tortoise in the Central Florida area. I love sulcatas and spur-thighs but I am open to other species. I live in an apartment right now, so I would like a small tortoise that would be happy in a 40-gal tank (with daily play-time outside). With growth, I plan on having an outdoor enclosure. As a zoology major, I've worked with a lot of different animals, including Sulcatas. This will be my first pet tortoise though-so any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi zoogater2 and welcome to the Forum!

New members aren't allowed to use the "for sale" section and sub forums until they've been here a while, so, because this is your first post, I've moved you to the "introductions" section, where we might get to know you better.

So FL
There are usually many tortoise ads on Craigslist. Just use caution.

Greeks are definitely at the top of my list right now!
