Found tortoise in Brawley, CA

Five days ago, I found a Russian tortoise in my backyard. It dug a whole that seems to be coming from our neighboor's house, but it did not belong to them. I put up some flyers around our neighboorhood and asked around, but it seems that no one has lost a tortoise.
