Horsefield tortoises, like all Testudo Mediterranean torts, have a diet of leafy greens. Fruit, including tomatoes and bell peppers, and carrot, contain high levels of sugars that they cannot digest and could make them very sick. It should only be fed verysparingly and very ocasionally. You can eat the strawberries, pull the green hulls (stalk bit) out and feed that to your tort occasionally and it will do no harm, but don't feed the whole fruit.
A russian tortoise is way too small at 2 years of age to accurately determine which sex they are. Sex determination happens with the size of the tortoise, not its age. russians are slow growing, so they are quite a bit older when they get big enough to tell their sex. More like 4 or 5 years.
