Ok, so I have now had my tort Tardis for a month now, so I've been figuring out what he does and doesn't like in his enclosure. First of all, I realized that he likes his enclosure moved around every three days, so I completely change it up for him and also soak his substrate. I also realized since he is a russian, that he loves to dig and climb so I try to give him lots of places to do so! One more thing, I know his water dish isn't the best, but he never uses it I soak him every other day, so that's usually how he stays hydrated. I am also going to replace it very soon. Also I do use clamp lamps, but the cords are attached to the wall just in case they were to fall they have something that would catch them. Oh, and the very last thing, this is his temporary or as I like to call it his "hatchling tank" since he is still only 12 weeks old. I will be building him a tortoise table within the next year.
