For Russian tortoises, broad-leaf weeds are best. In my Russian pen I have fillaree, plantain, clover, dichondra and a very tiny bit of grass. You can also plant rose-of-sharon, grapes, mullberry any succulents not in the Euphoriba family.

Day Lily is edible, however, the Asian variety is toxic.

What should i do if my tortious already ate some of the asian day lily?
