Good substrate

Hi, I see a lot of mixed opinions on here about substrate. I was impatient and bought stuff after only a bit of research. But im making a mixture of coco brick, soil, and zoo med forest floor. Does anyone think this is a bad idea or how do i better it?

Bagged soil from stores is not recommended, due to the fact you can't know what is in it (toxic plants in compost, plastic pieces, fertilizers, pesticides etc.)

Coco coir bricks and forest floor are good on their own without the soil. Many do coco coir first and then a layer of bark on top.
