Got Ramsay a new tank!

Ramsay is all moved into his new place! I just have one question: is it okay that his UV light doesn't cover the whole thing? I read somewhere that a basking spot is best. Any tips?

Yes it is okay that the uv does not cover the whole thing. If you can post a pic of your set up, we might be able to give a better suggestion for the basking spot.

Not sure how to do that. It's a 40 gallon tank and the UV light is in one corner.

Thats fine just make sure your basking temps are very hot and you have a cool side and hot side.
