RE: Grassland Tortoise Diet/ T-Rex Diet

We use the ZooMed Grassland diet. I like the high fiber content of it. Our Radiateds seem to take it with out issues. We soften it a bit and place some on top of their salad. It is another great way of getting a varied diet.

Location (City and/or State)
The Catskill Mountains of New York State
Below is a comparison of key elements of the current most tortoise popular pellet foods:

Protein Fat Fiber Calcium Phosphorus

Mazuri 15%+/- 3%+ 18%+ .95-1.45% .60%+

Marion Red Sticks 23%+/- 6.5%+ 10% ? ?

ZooMed Grassland 9%- 2%- 26%+ .9-1.3% .4%-

ZooMed Forest 13%- 2%- 23%+ 1.3%+ .4%-

Many people use pellet foods as once or twice a week supplement to a regular diet of good quality mixed greens as well as some occasional vegetables.
