Grazing material in enclosure

Is having plots of grass and live flowers growing in the enclosure a good thing or will this lead to overeating in a hatchling?
Second. With grazing material like this, how many times a week should give a hatching food?

This is exactly my preferred way to feed. I scoop soil and weed infested soil and take about 2”-3” of soil. They graze when hungry.
