Greetings from Alabama

Hello! Always been a snake guy, and never had a real interest in chelonians. But this past year, for some strange reason I cannot explain, I've developed an interest in tortoises. I was on the hunt for a red-foot, but I ended up taking in a juvenile sulcata from our local herp rescue (I'm fostering it "indefinitely"). Absolutely love the little guy, who is already growing fast in the few months in my care. I can't wait til he's large enough to put outside!

Anyway, I just came across this forum, and wanted to meet other tortoise enthusiasts. Just curious, anyone else from Alabama?
