Growing Tortoise Food

Hello everyone! I want to start growing food for my leopard tortoise, but instead of growing normal greens I want to grow plants found in the Leopard tortoises home environment. Are there any plants from Africa that are not to hard to grow?

You can get on sulcata. Com . They sell elephant grass and other seed mix

This is my favorite list to choose from. I also grow my own foods. If you check out the key for this list, it will tell you that the red ~~ is a native plant. In other words, plants found in the Leopard tortoises home environment.

Portulacaria afra is a plant that grows in South Africa and is eaten by tortoises, as is ice plant, senecio radicans, and many other succulents. These are easy to propagate, but require very high light when grown indoors.
