Hello all,
We adopted Chomps about 6 months ago after his original owners dumped off at a reptile store because they couldn't afford to take him to a vet after their dog chewed him up a bit. (Don't worry, we took him to a vet and were told that his shell would fill in the small gaps in time and wasn't at risk for getting an infection and was otherwise fine.)
He seems pretty content now, but have no idea how old he is. I know that their size can vary a lot, but I was wondering if anyone could link me up with a rough/general growth chart so that I could get a better idea of how old he might be =]
Today, his shell is almost 4 inches (10cm) long, near 3 inches (7.5cm) wide and weighs in at 160 grams.
Thanks!
Erica & Jasper

Anywhere from 6 months to three years old would be a pretty good estimate.
