Growth sign?

Hi,

new to tortoises, new to forum. We got our Leopard tortoise during the summer and he weighed only 56g, now he is up to 84g, but has developed this yellow(ish) line along his shell, on both sides. I am assuming that this is a growth sign. Can anyone confirm?
