She looks fine to me.

I'm more concerned about the dog. Dogs and torts don't mix. Even the best behaved dog can decide a tort looks like a chew toy with disastrous results.

Looking good to me too. What kind of dog? Looks, from what I can see, a Bull Terrier. Just a reminder, I am sure you don't anyway, but as JoesMum said, dogs and torts don't mix.

Yes she's a bull terror she is old and only has a few years left. That dog lived with a chinchilla for five years.they are never alone together and I'm positive she wouldn't hurt her. That being said she will never have the chance. I worry about the cats more than the dog. That's why when I go to work they go outside. :) within the next 5 years I'll only have my little desert rose. Luna the dog is 9, Figaro the cat is 10, and shithead the cat is 9. Pronounced shatheed. Lol

Nice job. Your tort is growing fast and healthy. I hope mine looks like that in 6 months. He'll pass up my semi adult Redfoot in 2 years. Lol

Cool Thank you I thought she looked better too. I just wanted someone a little markers professional opinion. If Tom and I think it was Laura reads this they were right about her shell lightening up in color if a took a soft bristle brush and cleaned her shell. It automatically got a little lighter. It was the substrate rubbed into her shell.; )

You are over the hump now. The new growth should continue to come in smooth and by the time she's and adult no one will even know she was ever pyramided at all.

:) ;) that is awesome you were right. one wash with a tooth brush did wonders on her shell. When I scrubbed her she looked so pretty and her growth lines were more visible. and she lightened up a bit too. ;)

Jason, looking so much better! Great job. The growth from Feb. To April is incredible! My torts were so growth stunted before I rescued them I am getting concerned about their growth, particularly Bo Scarlet's I weigh and measure them each month and their is weight gain but not much with Bo Scarlet. He seems to be eating well both greens and grazing, but just barely gains. He is healthy, nose, eyes, marathon walker. Hopefully he will start to gain more.

Don't want too quick growth, just a regular weight gain. The guy I rescued them from said they were about 3 and about give but I don't see how unless their growth was stunted even more than I thought. Bi barely weighs 3 pounds and Babette a little more than 5.
