While at the feed store looking for grass seeds we decided to grab a half bale of Timothy hay and see how it goes with Vegas since were having such a hard time getting any grass to grow with this heat right now. After a few quick sniffs, he dug right in. We are most likely gonna use some of it for bedding for Tejas and Honey since they are not hay eaters yet..

I remember when I "discovered" hay for big sulcatas. Man that was a good day. Gets me through our miserable hot dry summers.

Try the orchard grass and bermuda hay too. All good stuff. ... and so good for them.

I think I paid $12 for this bale, not for sure because I purchased several items. The drought has caused the hay prices in Texas to rise a little. I have gotten hay cheaper before especially around halloween..

My sister has brought premium colorado hay down when she visits (she lives on a cattle ranch, they do their own haying). I'm sorry to say RV has no interest in the stuff.........

Not sure, I doesn't have all the extras you would get from timothy hay you buy at the pet store, but it is all dried grass...
