Hello. I have a sweet Leopard tortoise, 3-4months old. He recently started opening his mouth wide, like yawning, scratching his eyes. His nose is not running, nothing in his eyes. Is this normal? He seems to not want to eat as much either. Although he did eat some of his cactus pad today.
His shell seems pliable, but is that normal for a baby, since they are growing?
I did reach out to our vet.

He is in a 50 gallon stock tank, and his temps are all good. And humidity.

What exactly do you mean by his temps and humidity are good?
What exactly are they? Basking, all over, night and humidity day and night?
Diet, how often giving warm soaks? Type of lighting and heating are you using?
Post pics of enclosure so we can see where any changes are needed if any. All the answers to my question will help us accurately help you.

Basking area is 100-105, ambient is 84-86, humidity is 45-60%.
I do soak him every day. I just mixed all the soil with warm water to rehydrate the soil and I do mist twice daily.

He eats Timothy hay( not his favorite yet) orchard grass hay, and tortoise grass pellets.
Dark greens, dandelion greens, cactus, hibiscus and succulents.
His lighting is the full spectrum 125 watt on one end and 60 watt on the opposite end. I have a CHE for night.
