We were looking at our hatchlings today and we noticed that this one cherryhead baby has a heart perfectly placed on its carpace. Has anyone ever seen this? This is different from the nuchal scute and the everything else is perfect on this one. We incubate 83.5F to avoid any shell deformities. This was just neat.

Here is what the baby looks like from the front and top shell.

Well, it's quite clear what it's caused by. She loves you! ;)

And I'm sure you return the favor.

Very unique little one you've got there. I would call him "Lover" for his name. :D

That is so cool.
Whats the saying "Two hearts are better than one" oh no it's
"Two heads are better than One".
I love the little cherryheads.

Here are some pics of the mummy, Rambutan. Who knows who is the daddy. All of her babies tend to be orange.

Yeah, yeah. You sound like my stepmother.

See "carpace"... compared to "plastron"?

I admit I love the variety of colors from the cherries. Someone suggested I call him E.T.
