Is it safe to use my zoo med heating pad on my rubbermaid container?
I don't want to melt it, or spark my house into flames :D

i dont think it would be to much of a problem. watch the wattage, just dont go over100w and what i plan on doin is putting it UNDER the rubbermaid in the spot where is hide is but i only will have it come on at night when the daylights turn off

In conjunction with a Rheostat, I've used the ZooMed heat pads on plastic tubs for a few years now with very minimal or no warping (not enough to really compromise the integrity of the tub). This is with the mini, small, and medium-sized pads from ZooMed.

I'm not saying do it or don't do it. Just telling you what I do and the results I see with my tubs. Again, I've ALWAYS used a rheostat when using these pads on anything other than a glass surface.
