Hello,
I'm Laura, I'm here to find out all i can about tortoises before i decide which type to get, so any suggestions would be great.
I'm from Eastbourne, East Sussex in the UK, and I share my house with my OH, my 10 year old son, 2 rats, 2 goldfish and 10 guinea pigs

Welcome! It would help to narrow down what type of tortoise for us to suggest, if you could give us some idea what size are you thinking or may be better, what size of an area are you thinking for the tortoise to live in? Outside (weather permitting)? Do you want interaction or more an animal to sit back and enjoy watching it do it's thing with little human interference?

Hi, thanks.
I was thinking one that doesn't get too large, who lives indoors, i have a fairly big garden, so plenty of space for the tortoise outside. and i would like interaction. I have plenty of space indoors, for a table or a glass tank, i'm looking into which type of housing is best. I have lots of reading to do!
