Help? Comments please?

I've had my rescued Russian for about three months now, before he was with us he lived in a storage container and thats what we've been keeping him in as a temporary home. I really want to give hime something much better. Due to climate here, his permanent home must be inside, when it's warm we do give him some supervised outside time! I don't have a ton of money to invest in a home, but I don't mind spending some. I was wondering if anbody had any plans or helpful hints on making a tort table or some kind of indoor enclosure. Otherwise I was wondering if maybe kiddie pool would be ok to keep him in? I don't know, I'm fresh out of ideas, but I do know I want to give him a better home. Help please! Thanks!

I only have Mortimer, my Sulcata,and when he outgrew his "plastic- tub home", I went to the thrift store and found those "pack-n-play" playpens for babies for $6 a piece. I bought 3-- cut holes in the ends and secured them together which made 3 separate areas. 1 for basking---1for eating and drinking-- 1 for nighttime. I was able to attach lighting across the top and adjust whatever height I wanted--- easy to clean[all waterproof for baby stuff] and the mesh sides let me keep an eye on whatever was going on throughout the day. Almost got a 4th but decided to give up the basement since Morty grew so well with all the exercise.

Kiddie pools are great! I'm planning on buying one for my Russian this summer.
My little guy is only a year old though- I don't know if a kiddie pool would be a sufficient size for an adult (?)

You can get cinder blocks for $1 a piece and create a place outside for him to spend the warm days. Then bring him in at night. But it's best if he can spend as much outside time as possible.
