Help, Nadia has a broken beak!

Help! I noticed Nadia (Russian Tort) this morning has a chipped beak, pretty high up to her nasal openings. First time I've ever seen this with my torts. Don't know how she got it of course, but certainly affects her ability to tear off pieces of food.

Looking carefully at the picture you will notice that you can see the sharp tip of her bottom beak, which is certainly not something I've been able to see before.

I've seen articles about long beaks, but nothing like this. Is there something I should do for her? Will it regrow? Any other suggestions?

You can take the file attachment on a Dremmel tool and soften the edges of the break. If she's still eating, then the original tenderness has passed. It will grow back.

Yes it will grow back. Our lil guy had it happen once can't even tell now. We never figured out s/he did it.
