Help Tortoise beak

My tortoises beak seems to like peeling off. It’s only on its left side and it’s right side looks normal. Is this normal?

It just needs that piece clipped off.

Please read our care sheet for russian tortoises. His eyes are telling us there is something wrong with his husbandry. (and the peeling beak may be telling us there is something wrong with his nutrition.)

I have read it. Do you mind helping me out and giving me some tips. This is my first tortoise so I’m very new to this stuff.
