HELP! turtle sleeping all the time, not moving

I guess I'll have to be the one to say it. Please don't get another pet unless you have adequate knowledge and funds ready for proper housing, equipment, and medicine. This setup is obviously a death trap for any turtle/tortoise.

I'm sure your cruelly timed remark has made her feel so-o-o-o-o much better.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your love of the turtle was obvious. We have all made mistakes in care/impulse buy etc., but please do consider researching and getting set up for any new pet's needs before replacing them. Best wishes
