Can you help me? I noticed this for a while, but I thought this wasn't really bad,but now I'm worried. There are so many white lines/spots on his shell. What is this and what should I do?
Thanks.

Hi Justi:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!

What would you like us to call you?

And may we know appx. where in the world you are?

There's nothing wrong with your tortoise's shell. That's just dust and debris stuck in the cracks. After a nice soak, if you scrub it with a soft bristle brush, you can get all that out of the cracks and he'll be good as new.

Thanks guys!
Oh and I put some rocks in his house and he's now trying to eat them.:) So I guess it will help to make the beak shorter : )
