Mr. Pebbles is a 3 toed box turtle I adopted from a rescue group. He appears female, but tries to mate with my female boxie. Also, his vent is positioned past the shell. He came to me with a stub tail but obviously you can still see the vent. @Eric Phillips ....thoughts?

I do not. Like I said, I adopted him from a rescue. He came to me with a stub tail, gnarly back toenails, an overgrown beak, and a shell that looks slightly too small for his body. I named him pebbles because I thought he was female also. When I realized he was male I changed it to Mr. Pebbles to make it a bit more manly. Lol
