I noticed yesterday that my turtle opened his mouth wide then closed it. Today again I notices him doing that so far he only did it twice at night, but I'm not home all day so not sure if he does it during the day. He's eating fine and swimming around. Is it just yawning or should I be concerned!

If all other behavior is bang on....I would suspect he is messing with you and yawning....

That's typical.

Especially if it's underwater, they do that anticipating food.

My musk does it alll the time.
