Male Hermann at least 3 years old is inside because of the weather. I let him roam on my floor in an inclosed area for several hours a day with basking lamps if he needs them. However. He's managed to find an area at the edge of my fireplace and got wedged between it and the wall and it has scared his shell. Just scratched it up. Is there anything I can do to help get it back to its beauty. He's not hurt and I've fixed this area so it won't happen again.

This and many other reasons is why we do not recommend letting them roam your house. They do much better and are safer being in their own enclosure or dedicate a room in your house just for him but set it up completely like an enclosure.
There is some tortoise shell conditioning stuff that's sold that might help but not likely. You will just have to see how it fills in over time. Likely it will always be noticeable.
