Hermanns enclosure

Hello! My juvenile hermanns tortoise lived in a tortoise table as a baby, and it's ready for an upgrade. Are there any lower budget ways to get a bigger enclosure? I cant make it.

Perhaps you could look for a large shelving unit that the shelves can be removed from? It would need lining of course and make sure it’s deep enough to allow for substrate depth and not being too low to climb, a lip around the edge and corner caps can help prevent escape too! Kind of like this


Hopefully you can see what I mean.

If you can’t find a unit big enough, you could put two together, it’d involve minimal diy, you’d be surprised what you can find on fb marketplace
