hermit crabs anyone?

Hi I guess I just love any animal with a shell, maybe snails will be next! any way, anyone here love their little hermies as much as I do?
I am a part of the LHC (land hermit crab association) and forum. its a great site. if your not on it but love hermies you should be!

I too love crabs of any kind. Don't have any at the moment. My last one I had died for unknown reasons about a month ago.

I have 2 that I just got in May when we went to Virginia Beach. Both are currently buried for their first molt.

Haha I used to be on that site and I have since been unfortunately getting away from keeping hermies.

I've had a lot of fun keeping them and still have 5, (though I rarely ever see more than 1 at a time because they became very shy and dig much more) anyways I've had my oldest one for 7 or 8 years. They are pretty amusing little guys!
