I have a Russian tort, I got him from a couple how was looking after him for the holidays and the owners never came back for him. I Have aways wanted a tortoise so he now lives with me and is much loved. They told me he was about 2 years old but I am not sure as a friend has just got a Herman tort and the sizing is very different. Simon (my tort) is about the size of the Palm of my hand and weighs 272g.
The Herman is said to be 18 months old but only weighs 50g and very much smaller, the Herman was bought in a pet shop and doesn't have papers!!! any thoughts?
