Hi. I have been absorbing the valuable information found here for a couple of months, but I haven't introduced myself. My name is Dave. I live in Columbus, OH. I have two Russian tortoises, one from a pet store (5inch male named Wallie) and the other rehomed (7inch female Shelly). Both are active and seem healthy, but Shelly's shell is not perfect. I think she had at least two previous owners over the last 5 years.
I love this forum for both the chance to obtain helpful info and to interact with other individuals who love tortoises. I have enjoyed keeping turtles much of my life (I'm 34), but I'm really new to tortoises.
