Hi!! (question about supplements)

Hi! How long do you think tortoises can survive only on supplements for vitamin D3? Just wondering since I have a really bad one. How long before it can damage my future tortoise 's eyes?

He can survive for a while, while not ideal he can still live... Remember try feeding greens, check this URL:

Supplements should ONLY be given 2-3 times a week. Too much is like too little. Also, try giving daily soaks (about thirty minutes) Here are the steps:
1-get a bowl the tort can't get out of (enough room to walk around a little)
2-pour lukewarm water
3-make sure the water reaches to where the bottom & top of his shell meet.
