Hello, Emma, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum to you, Zoom and Ethel.
Have a read of http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/beginner-mistakes.45180/
and http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread...or-other-herbivorous-tortoise-species.107734/
as well as http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/russian-tortoise-care-sheet.80698/
I notice your tortoises are a little bumpy so also look at http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/the-end-of-pyramiding.15137/
and http://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/closed-chambers.32333/
as humidity is important.
Do they have separate enclosures or are they kept together ? Tortoises, particularly Russians, do not get on as pairs.
Sorry it's such a lot of information, but well worth the time to read.

Hi :) yep Ethel is a little bumpy she was taken in by me as the previous owner was dumping her that day she had a really crappy time before care wise next to none :( she has a humid hide to hopefully help any new growth to be smoother
No my torts live separate zoom is a male and Ethel is I think but way to tiny to tell a female so likely to change as 'she' grows
Both my monsters are fed a weed diet and spend all day weather permitting outside
Thanks for the info I will have a read of the links :)
